You receive the reference reports directly from the referee via a locked PDF file. Allowing no 3rd party amendments.
Account area
In your account area you can view all pending and completed references & invoices, update your details including your password, top up your account and most importantly - request a reference.
Full anonymity
The referees do not receive your details. They are asked to provide a reference for the candidate on the basis of their previous employment. This encourages unbiased feedback.
Identity verification
Rather than mobile numbers Xref uses email addresses to positively identify referees, allowing you to feel confident that the person is who they say they are. In addition Xref provides you with all referee details on completion of a reference report

Protect your business
XREF has been designed with privacy, data collection and anti-discrimination in mind. We ensure that not only can you legally collect this data but also that the questions asked can in no way be deemed discriminatory. Xref also verifies working rights and requests information on any existing (unspent) convictions.
Progress reports
Xref will email you alerts as your reference request progresses. Alternatively you can log into your account and view the status of all Xrefs.
Reference archive
All completed reference reports are stored within your account area. They are available for download at any time and remain accessible for the life of the account.
